After more than two years as Augustine Casino’s agency of record, JNS Next was approached by the Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians to take on a special project outlining their past and their present – a story that had never before been told. Being a hard-working and humble Tribe, many people were unaware of their local impact on the community and how they overcame adversity despite their small size.
After an extensive amount of research gathered by interviewing the Tribe and those in their inner circle, JNS Next was able to source and organize written and visual content for a coffee-table styled brochure. The brochure was unveiled during a private event hosted by the Tribe and attended by local dignitaries and the media. The brochure was also mailed to a select group of civic leaders throughout the state of California.
Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the brochure, the Tribe requested a full rebuild of their website based on the brochure design and content, as well improved functionality and an updated layout. JNS Next was able to design, develop and launch www.augustinetribe-nsn.gov within an expedited timeframe.
Both the brochure and website were recognized by the local ADDY Award competition with Silver awards for design and creativity.
